Mission Statement
PURPOSE
1. The purpose of this church shall be to establish and maintain a place of Christian and Spiritual worship.2. To have the right to own, hold in trust, use, or otherwise possess, sell, convey, mortgage, lease, or otherwise dispense of such property, real or chattel, as may be found necessary in the prosecution of it's work.
3. To establish such departments as may be necessary in the promulgation of Christian doctrine, evangelism, missionary effort, at home and in foreign lands, philanthropy, and the work of doing good to all men.
FUNCTION
The function of this church shall embody a Theocratic form of government instead of a Democratic form of government. The function shall be the advancement of the Kingdom of God in a spiritual instead of secular way. Even though the Biblical concept of function shall prevail this church shall function as a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation operating as a 501 C3 approved status with the I.R.S.
OUTREACH
The outreach of this church shall be one that extends beyond its four walls. This outreach shall be at home and abroad. At home it shall be one of teaching, preaching, caring for the church with a benevolent policy to the poor and needy, sharing the Gospel with those around us. Abroad the policy shall be the fulfillment of the Great Commission as taught by Matthew and Mark. Abroad it will be not only preaching the Gospel but building churches. The idea of both home and abroad is carried out in the instruction of Jesus in Acts 1:8.
LEADERSHIP
The secular affairs of this church shall be conducted by a board of trustees under the leadership of the Pastor. The spiritual affairs shall be conducted by the elders again under the Pastor's leadership. The Deacon's ministry will serve to assist under the Pastor's leadership in the daily ministration (provision).
STEWARDSHIP
This church shall be supported by free will tithes and offerings according to the teaching of such in the Bible, both Old and New Testaments. All leaders and members shall be expected to practice good stewardship in the area of money as a testimony to their faith and a Biblical means of support.
DEPARTMENTALIZATION
The church shall be departmentalized in order for the greatest efficiency in function. Those departments shall consist of youth, music, Christian education, ladies and men fellowships, sports and Israel outreach. Each appointee or department head shall be accountable to the Pastor to blend, to support and to honor the entire church body.
UNITY
The function of this ministry shall be in unity, as we understand how good unity is and our responsibility to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. If any idea or program does not advance the cause of unity but distracts from it, this idea will be considered unnecessary or unimportant at this particular time.
EDUCATION
The Christian Education Program will consist of Sunday School and other alternative programs for Sunday and Wednesday nights. Also as a means of reaching the community we will maintain a Christian Day Care. These will function either under the chairship of the Pastor or an appointed board. Our goal will be the approach that all education needs to be Christian.
PHILOSOPHY
The philosophy of this church will not be denominational, but on a Fellowship basis. It will not be liberal but conservative especially in the area of Biblical doctrines. It will not be secular but Spiritual understanding that the church is a living organism and not a religious organization.
MEMBERSHIP
The membership of this church shall consist of all born again believers in good standing who shall have met the requirements of the church and who subscribe regularly to its financial support, and whose names appear on the roster, no member under charges in writing shall have the right to vote, membership requirements shall be met as outlined in the Bylaws Article 2 Section 1.
DISCIPLINE
Discipline shall be exercised, together with the advisory board and their advisory plan shall be respected, the decision of the board shall be final. Some of the grounds for discipline are absence from services, failure to consistently support the church, sinful living, involvement in false doctrine, being habitual busybodies, unbridled tongues, backbiting, evil speaking, tale bearing, murmuring or any conduct that engenders division or schism.
